A party can still be plenty of fun without alcohol. If you're driving home afterward, if you're under the legal drinking age, if you have moral objections to alcohol, or if you simply want to be sure to keep your wits about you, then you should avoid drinking.
- When you get to the party, if you're offered a drink, ask for something that doesn't have alcohol in it. Soda pop, water, milk or juice might be available.
- Dance! This is by far the best way to have fun at any party. Just be careful to dance on the floor, and do it in a clear space or outdoors so nobody gets hurt. Don't try moves that are too difficult for you, or you'll be sore and bruised the next day.
- Play some games with your friends. These can be party games, board games, video games, whatever you like.
- Feel free to sing along to the music. You'll enjoy yourself more.
- Wear things you feel comfortable in.For example, don't wear your twelve-inch heels just because they're cute.Wear your favorite pair of jeans, favorite t-shirt,shoes etc. ,so you can be sure you'll be comfortable with what you're wearing.
- Before leaving your place play some of your favorite party tunes and dance around your room just to get in the mood.Better yet, invite some friends over so you can get ready and arrive together so you can get into a fun and party mood before even arriving to the actual party.
- Keep Busy.Try to make new friends and keep your mouth and hands busy drinking a soft drink.
